In just three years, Pulkit has built India’s largest battery-swapping network for electric two and three-wheelers – Battery Smart. Alongside co-founder Siddharth Sikka, he is creating a sustainable mobility solution with an aim to simplify EV ownership by eliminating major deterrents to EV adoption. Battery Smart strives to make EV ownership financially attractive for commercial drivers by enabling them to spend more time on the road and multifold their earnings. Since 2019, Battery Smart has completed 20 million battery swaps, set up 850+ live swap stations across 27 cities, and serves 35,000 customers.
He also chairs the focus group on battery swapping at the India Electric Mobility Council (IEMC) and collaborates with key EV players to create a truly integrated platform.
